PROTEIN PACKED OMELETTE
Kicking off our new Protein Series with this protein-packed cheesy omelette recipe. It’s quick and easy to cook this up and with the addition of Eatlean Protein Cheese (150g adding 54g of protein alone!) this recipe totals up to a show-stopping 85.8g of protein!
Ingredients
3 medium eggs
150g Eatlean cheese, hand grated (protein = 54g!)
6 small tomatoes, cut into quarters
1 tbsp snipped chive
1 tsp low fat oil spray
1 tbsp finely chopped basil leaves
75g of thick cut Ham aka 2 slices – protein 15.3g
Serve with a side salad
Method
Heat the olive oil in a small non-stick frying pan.
Add three eggs into a bowl. Add a pinch of Salt and Pepper and whisk the Chives into the mix.
Add the egg and chive mixture to the hob on a medium heat.
Add the tomatoes and ham into the omelette as it cooks.
Swirled the grated cheese into the pan.
Flip the omelette and cook for two more minutes, serve with side salad.
